The plant is located nearby Acireale right at the feet of the Etna volcano, in a countryside area very important for the cultivation of lemons and also very close to where typical Sicilian blood oranges are grown.

It extends over a 8.000 sqm (3.000 sqm covered) and includes the typical Sicilian extractors "pelatrice" and "screw press" and the more common “in-line” extractors for the NFC juice production.

The plant is then equipped with the tools and machinery for the juice refining (dekanter and centrifuges), two evaporators, refrigerated storage areas and chilled areas for the essential oil storage.

Throughout the ages BesT has progressively enlarged its portfolio introducing new products (prickly pear puree in particular), a wide and growing range of tailor-made products according to specific customers' requirements and importing high quality exotic fruit purees, NFC and concentrates for new product trends.
